EmpowerNJ leaders will present information and opportunities for public participation in the Murphy Administration's rulemaking for "Protecting Against Climate Threats" that is supposed to cut greenhouse gas emissions and plan for climate resiliency in NJ -- the proposed rules are due within 2 months. Maria Lopez-Nuñez, ICC's Deputy Director of Organizing and Advocacy will share timely information about two new polluting projects proposed in Newark, how polluters are pushing for approvals before NJ's new environmental justice law goes fully into effect, and how we can stop them.
