Delaware Riverkeeper Network (DRN) values the support of our members, donors, customers, supporters and others who share our common goal of protecting the Delaware River. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of those who visit our web site. We have instituted the following privacy policy to ensure that any personal information you provide while visiting our site remains confidential. Any personal information submitted by you to our website, including name, address and financial information, is stored in a secure location and is accessible only by designated staff or contractors of DRN. This information may be shared with our affiliated organizations and other organizations that share similar missions and concerns of DRN. This type of sharing operates on an opt-out basis. Your information will not be shared with entities outside the DRN, however, if you check the “Please DO NOT EXCHANGE my name with other organizations” box on the membership page of the website. DRN does not provide its supporting membership lists to marketing organizations for any purpose.

1.  Purposes for which we process Personal Data

Delaware Riverkeeper Network (DRN), collects and processes your personal data as following:

  • We collect your name and contact information to respond to your online inquiries about urgent environmental issues, your requests for speaking or educational engagements and other DRN services and products, to provide you with customer support or when we communicate with you otherwise;
  • Our websites processes device and usage data via use of cookies or similar technical means to improve our website and services and to guarantee security and proper functioning of the site;
  • We use anonymous or pseudonymized personal data to send you marketing communications or to display relevant content to you;
  • We collect your billing information to complete transactions required for purchases of products and books available for purchase on DRN websites.
  • We also collect and process Personal Data for compliance purposes under applicable laws and to cooperate with public and government authorities.

Beyond the above listed purposes, we process your data only if you have granted your consent for its stated purposes.
