Municipal Resolutions and Legislator Letters to Support Frack Ban: A Webinar Dec. 14
By Special Request, a Repeat on how to Reach out to Municipalities and Elected Officials to Support the Delaware River Watershed Frack Ban
Thursday, December 14, 6:30 to 8:00 pm
For those who couldn’t join last month’s webinar, we’re holding an encore presentation. Join Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Berks Gas Truth to learn how to approach your local municipal and county governments to secure a resolution in support of a full ban on fracking in the Delaware River Basin. The webinar will also include how to utilize sample individual and group sign-on letters to secure written support from elected officials at every level of government in support of the ban.
This webinar’s goal is to expand awareness of and support for achieving a complete and permanent ban on natural gas drilling and fracking and all related activities (including wastewater processing and discharges from and water withdrawals for drilling and fracking operations) throughout the Delaware River Watershed.
A draft municipal resolution, a support letter from an individual elected official, and a group sign-on letter will be provided for participants’ use. Talking points will also be provided and there will be time provided for Questions and Answers and participant discussion. This webinar requires registration. Please register ahead of time to be certain you have the webinar materials prior to the event.
