NJ: Our Planet, Our Future - Gloucester City Rally

On May 31st from 4-6pm, we'll be marching and rallying in Gloucester City to call on Governor Murphy to prevent LNG from being exported from Gibbstown. If this project moves forward, it'll further endanger communities that already bear the brunt of corporate pollution. We don't want LNG exported from Gibbstown or anyplace else in the state. Join us in Gloucester City to send this message to Murphy!

Our Planet, Our Future: New Jersey Call to Climate Action

Governor Murphy has stated his opposition to the proposed Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) export terminal in Gibbstown — but at the same time, his administration has greenlit permits for the project. South Jersey communities would be on the frontlines of this project, bearing the brunt of increased air pollution and the threat of a hazardous LNG spill from a train derailment or truck accident. We cannot let fracked gas be exported from Gibbstown or anywhere else in New Jersey!

Bring your friends and family for a rally of joyful resistance on Wednesday, May 31st in Gloucester City to tell Gov. Murphy: No Gibbstown LNG Export Terminal!

We'll march to Proprietors Park in Gloucester City (which falls on both proposed LNG train and truck routes), where we'll hold a rally calling on Governor Murphy to stop the Gibbstown LNG export terminal proposal from moving forward.

Schedule:

  • 4pm - Meet on S. King and Market Street
  • 4:30 - March around Proprietors Park
  • 5:00 - Rally with speakers and music
  • 6:00 - Close

We will be organizing carpools from throughout the state (down South, North and Central Jersey). If you would like to be connected to a carpool from your area, please fill out this form: http://www.groupcarpool.com/t/tibao5
