Is your water safe to drink?

Drinking water and the environment have been contaminated by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the Gloucester County communities in and around the Solvay manufacturing facility in West Deptford Twp. . Within the last year, a new PFAS chemical used by Solvay reportedly to replace the highly toxic PFNA that was discovered here in 2013 was found in soil and groundwater. Community members are very concerned about what this means for the safety of their drinking water, air and local environment. Is the water safe to drink? Are the fish from local streams safe to eat? Can vegetables be safely grown in backyards? How toxic is this Solvay so-called “replacement compound”?

Join the webinar to hear a report on what we know and what is being kept secret about this new pollution problem and to hear from residents who are asking these questions.
Monday, May 10, 7pm to 8pm
