Speak Together on Earth Day 50 NJ!
Fight Climate Crisis by Ending Fossil Fuel Reliance!
Please sign and share our EMPOWER NJ Earth Day petition directed to New Jersey’s government telling them that to fulfill our state’s role in thwarting climate change, fossil fuel projects must be stopped. We want to demonstrate that we, New Jersey residents, want truly clean, renewable and beneficially healthy energy sources and infrastructure. Save our planet by stopping fossil fuels!
The earth shifted beneath our feet 50 years ago when the first Earth Day started the environmental era. We are now on the cusp of a new age that demands urgent and dramatic action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the next 10 years and requires a green economy to protect us from pollution and climate catastrophe.
On April 22, the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, the EMPOWER NJ coalition will deliver at least 50,000 signatures to Governor Murphy, NJ Department of Environmental Protection and the Board of Public Utilities, if we all sign and share this petition far and wide. We must speak loud and clear to those making energy decisions day in and day out that profoundly impact the climate and our environment.
Let’s do together through this petition what we can’t do in person at rallies and celebrations due to the COVID 19 emergency: join together to shout out for the planet by making NJ part of the climate solution. Please join us!
