Who: EmpowerNJ, coalition partners, and everyone who wants a real renewable energy future

NJ's long awaited draft Energy Master Plan has just been released. This document is supposed to be the blueprint to get NJ to 100% clean energy by 2050. There is some good, some bad, some ugly, and mostly a lot of unanswered questions about our energy future that have to get answered well ASAP! New Jersey has tremendous opportunity to be a national leader on renewable energy, but it is not going to happen if we don't ask, and we don't fight for it.

We want to have a strong showing of people at this first hearing to make sure NJBPU, NJDEP, and the Governor's office hear us loud and clear. We are not fooled by "carbon neutral" gimmicks, and we are not interested in continuing our reliance on polluting fossil fuels. We need to get off using fossil fuels, and we need to do it quickly.
