Watershed 101 Workshops for Volunteer Monitors
May 18, 19, and 31 Watershed 101 Workshop Series, 8AM – 5PM
DRN volunteer monitors and new volunteers looking to expand their knowledge of river dynamics and learn new skills and tools are invited to Stroud Water Research Center's 3-day "Watershed 101" workshop, which will include presentations, activity sessions, and discussions on stream and river characteristics and processes in the context of watershed monitoring and management. The location of this southern Del Watershed session will be Stroud Center in Avondale, PA. For more details on this workshop contact dbressler@stroudcenter.org and let Dave know that you are a DRN volunteer monitor as there are spaces being saved for you. There is an April 20,21, and 28th earlier workshop in East Stroudsburg being offered if that location closer for you. Workshop space is limited so register early.
