Watershed 101 Workshops for Volunteer Monitors
April 20, 21, 28 Watershed 101 Workshop Series, 8AM – 5PM
DRN volunteer monitors and new volunteers looking to expand their knowledge of river dynamics and learn new skills and tools are invited to Stroud Water Research Center's 3-day "Watershed 101" workshop, which will include presentations, activity sessions, and discussions on stream and river characteristics and processes in the context of watershed monitoring and management. The first workshop will be held on April 20, 21, and 28 at East Stroudsburg University's Innovation Center, Room 333 (562 Independence Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301; 570-422-7920. There will be another workshop farther south in the Del River Basin on May 18,19 and 26th. Workshop space is limited so register early.
