DRBC Commissioners Meeting: Help Deliver a Community Comment on PennEast Pipeline

BREAKING: Due to impending snow storm, DRBC has postponed the 10:30 am start time for the March 15 meeting to 2:00 pm; watch for further changes by DRBC, especially if travel is bad: http://www.nj.gov/drbc/meetings/upcoming/index.html
Our outside action for the fracking ban is cancelled but if safe to travel and the meeting is not altogether cancelled, we will still be at the meeting for the public comment session and will submit the organizational sign-on letter for a permanent ban.

Please note - the afternoon 2:00 hearing taking place at the DRBC is about a different issue the Delaware Riverkeeper Netowrk has been advocating for for nearly a decade.   You can learn more about this issue, send a comment and learn what you need to know to consider speaking at the 2 pm hearing at this link:  http://www.delawareriverkeeper.org/node/4579

Help us show DRBC
All the ways PennEast has Lied,
All the Ways PennEast has Misled,
All the Information PennEast Didn’t Provide

Three Things You Can Do To Help Stop PennEast:

1. Email paula.schmitt@drbc.nj.gov to say:
“I want to testify at the March 15 DRBC meeting during open public dialogue. Topic: PennEast.”

You may get told that the entire hour has been accounted for by signups already but please still sign up in order to demonstrate the high level of concern/intereste in this matter and to ensure that if slots open up you are there to take advantage of the moment.

2. Help build the list of deficiencies we will provide to the DRBC by emailing any misinformation or missing information you have identified to keeper@delawareriverkeeper.org

3. Come to the March 15 DRBC Commissioners Meeting to Help Deliver a Community Comment. Sign up here so we can be sure to keep you in the planning loop.
