Join Maya van Rossum, the Delaware Riverkeeper, for an evening of sustainable fare and intimate discussion about her new book, The Green Amendment, and other local issues facing the Delaware River watershed, hosted by the Farm Cooking School and Roots to River Organic Farm. All proceeds will be donated to the Delaware Riverkeeper Network.

Maya van Rossum is the Delaware Riverkeeper and for over 23 years has served as leader for the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, an organization that works throughout the Delaware River watershed on the issues that impact the health our waterways and our ability to protect and restore them for the benefit of all. Maya is currently advancing The Green Amendment movement, a nationwide effort to advance constitutional rights to pure water, clean air and a healthy environment.

Over the past year, Maya has worked closely with New Jersey legislators to advance New Jersey’s own constitutional environmental rights provision, ACR85, currently before NJ legislators. Learn more about this historic opportunity for the state and its implications for projects like the proposed PennEast Pipeline, and for the rights of New Jerseyans for generations to come.

The Farm Cooking School and the adjoining Roots to River farm are located the heart of the Delaware River Valley and both share in the Delaware Riverkeeper Network’s mission to protect the health of the watershed. The Farm also stands along the route of the proposed PennEast Pipeline.

Ticket prices include a five-course, locally harvested dinner from renowned chefs Ian Knauer and Shelley Wiseman. Van Rossum will also speak at this benefit event. The Farm Cooking School will donate the proceeds of each ticket purchased to the Delaware Riverkeeper Network.

Signed copies of The Green Amendment, by Maya van Rossum, the Delaware Riverkeeper will be available. If you have already purchased a copy of the Green Amendment, please feel free to bring your copy along to be signed by Maya or to pick up a second copy.

Tickets can be purchased through the Farm Cooking School, here.
