Be Counted! Stand for a DRBC Frack Ban May 17!

RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/733244133514634/

What: Strong presence at the DRBC Public Meeting Wednesday, May 17.

Where: Washington Crossing State Park Visitor Center, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, Pa.

When: Arrive by 1:00 pm, meeting starts at 1:30 pm.

Troubling signs that the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) may be lifting its seven year moratorium on gas drilling brought hundreds of people to the February and March DRBC meetings in Washington Crossing, PA. We spoke loud and clear: Ban Fracking in the Delaware River Watershed Now!
On May 17 the DRBC will hold its meeting to consider various permits throughout the Basin. Although there is no public comment session at this meeting, we want to be present to represent all of our communities that oppose drilling and will never allow its devastation to occur on this Wild and Scenic River and in this watershed that supplies 17 million people with drinking water.
Please come and be counted with other representatives of organizations that support a frack ban and municipalities that have passed a resolution calling for a DRBC ban.
NOW IS THE TIME to enact a permanent ban on all gas development, including drilling and fracking, in the Delaware River Watershed. Take action right now by signing the Petition: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/ban-fracking-in-the-delaware-1
